16 days till I get married, and I'm sick! Seriously... it's no fun! I have WAY too much stuff to do, and I have no energy. UGH!
Hoping for some energy, and to find a time and person to do my hair! It needs to be cut and colored!!! I can't have the grey showing! Just a lot to do... energy, come back!!

Where did time go?! I get married in 20 days, and it still feels like I have a couple months! I'm super excited, and so ready, but WOW! I have much to do within those 20 days! Hopefully I don't forget anything!! :-/
Pictures of our townhouse will come soon! I'm going to get pictures tomorrow, and get them posted a few days later. They won't be true before and after pictures, but that's okay. The trim is painted downstairs, and Brandon told me that he painted the living room as well.
Well... working out and losing weight hasn't happened. :-( My life has been so busy, and it's hard with the gym in Nac and I'm still in Lufkin. Hopefully the weight loss will come afterwards!!
School is school. It's been hard to focus this year... I wonder why. LOL!
So yea... 20 days, and much to do!

HOUSE!!
Brandon and I are now first-time home owners! I can't believe that we closed yesterday (Wednesday, February 17). It is still unreal to us right now, and every time we start moving something in, we realize that we are growing up. It's kind of weird right now, but we are both super excited!
There are many things that we want to do, but we have to do it one at a time and make sure to not get too ahead of ourselves. We have a couple weeks until it is completely our home, and during that time, much work will be done.
We bought a bed, mattress set, and a kitchen table today. That was pretty crazy as well! When did I grow up?!?! LOL!
Pictures will come soon... once I remember to take my camera to the house as we are wanting to get before and after pictures. YAY!!
I am so excited to have a place to call my own, and to be able to fix it the way that I want. Brandon has said that I can decorate and do as I please except for the kitchen. The kitchen is 50/50, and I'm okay with that. :-) It's rare that I do anything without asking him about it anyways. We are partners in everything, and I wouldn't have it any other way!!

Wedding!!
27 days and counting! I am so excited and ready for it to be here!
Things are certainly coming along, and it's more of just details left to do now. That makes me happy as I don't think I could handle having big things to do with it being so close.
I have my guest book and it's amazing! It turned out so well, and I'm glad I was able to create that memory for us.
Lufkin Bridal Shower is complete, and I got some great advise and fun gifts! Thank you mom and Robin for hosting!!!
Some items for the ceremony came in this weekend, and I'm excited for that!
I've already made several "thank you" cards, so I'm getting ahead on making sure to send those out to people.
It doesn't seem like a lot, but things really are coming together. Oh yea - my dress is done! The alterations have turned out wonderful, and now I just need to do the last fitting and pay! :-) Thank you Michelle for your help there!!!
Life is great, and I'm excited! There are still a few things left to do (especially like getting someone to make my cake or figure out what I want to do there so I can do it myself), but it'll all turn out great and happy!!! It's a special day, and above all else, the only thing that matters is the commitment and promise Brandon and I are making to each other!!!

Stress = A Lot of Things!!
So I am realizing that with the increase of my stress level, I am starting to slack in many areas. But also, I'm realizing that I'm having to have more control.
My life is a mess right now! There are many things happening, and I'm certainly staying busy. It is rare that I have a break, and when I do, it's because my body just can't go... not because I don't have other things to do.
Here are a few things I've realized within this past week:
1) The more stressed I become, the more OCD (CDO) I am. And for everyone that knows me, I'm already pretty OCD about a lot of things.
2) Being OCD normally wouldn't be a problem, but my life is very disorganized right now as I'm living out of boxes and no order. I don't know where many things are (including a text book that I need) as things are boxed up and placed in many different locations. I don't have any set place for things to go.
3) Being disorganized means that I forget things. Because I'm forgetting things, I am not doing as well as I could and should be in my classes. I should be ahead and more on top of everything; however, I am missing a few deadlines and just not having the drive to do what I need to do.
4) Trying to not forget things, I create lists; however, I tend to forget where I place my lists or forget I even created a list as it's not out like it normally would be.
Life is interesting! I'm hoping for some stability to come into my life here soon, and be able to get things back in order... hopefully not too late!
I have 4 weeks to complete a lot of different things, and I just have to get on top of it all! And also, remember to find things to help release the stress like working out, tanning, or spending time with Brandon when I get the chance (which isn't very often due to work and living 45 minutes apart)! :-)

Valentine's Day
Well today wasn't any special day as I didn't do too much. I woke up pretty early and laid in bed for about 30 minutes (which was nice and rare), worked on a little project I was doing for Brandon, ate some breakfast with my parents, and then got ready for Church. I went to Church, but only for Sacrament meeting (which is at 12pm - lame!), and then came home to work on some school stuff I had forgotten about (a totally different blog there!). Thank you cards were started as I'm making my cards, and I love them!! :) I watched some of the Olympics, ate some lunch/dinner with my parents, and took a nice nap (my energy level is not normal!). YSA FHE was here in Lufkin, and I decided to go since I was able to talk Katie into going as well. It was so good to see her again; I mean, she is my MOH! haha Katie and I even made plans to go work out this week! YAY! It's been too long since we've done that together, and I so need to get my butt in gear! I only have 4 weeks!!!
As you can see, my Valentine's Day was nothing too special. Well... not the typical spend the day with the love of your life kind of special. Brandon had to work, so I got about a 3-5 minute conversation. :-) He doesn't like the phone so I take what I can get! But we are getting together tomorrow so I can give him his Valentine's Day gift then, and we are going to try to get some things taken care of for our upcoming adventures! Brandon gave me my Valentine's Day gift on Saturday night after I got off work, and I love it! It's the open heart necklace from Kay's! It's beautiful!!
This morning, I walked into the living room and noticed a package had come. I was excited as it was something I was waiting for, for the ceremony! :) On top of it, I found a card from my dad. It's beautiful, and I want to share it!!

From Your Dad with Love
Darling daughter,
you've been a Valentine to me
all of your life-from the moment
I first saw your beautiful baby face,
through all your growing-up years...
to the sweetheart you are today.
And I've loved you...
during the sweet and sassy ages,
the awkward and awesome ages,
and all the stages in between.
There have been many times
when I thought I couldn't love you more,
but then you'd prove me wrong
by coming along with more charm,
more confidence, more tenderness...
and my love for you just kept growing.
You're a part of my heart-
always have been.
Always will be.
A dad couldn't ask for a better Valentine
than a daughter like you.

I love my dad!! He's absolutely amazing!! I know that in 4 weeks, it is going to be hard to say goodbye as I leave his fold and create a new family and home of my own with Brandon. Of course, he will always be there, but he's not my "main man" as that becomes Brandon. Life is changing, and I'm realizing that I'm becoming more and more emotional about things. Not normal for me, but it's okay. :-)

Fun Craft
Okay - so I just saw this on AOL news, and it looks like a really fun craft. It's a great way to utilize broken or small pieces of crayons to make big ones.
http://news.holidash.com/2010/02/05/crafts-with-kendra-make-these-fun-crayons/?icid=main|aim|dl8|link3|http%3A%2F%2Fnews.holidash.com%2F2010%2F02%2F05%2Fcrafts-with-kendra-make-these-fun-crayons%2F
That is the web address that takes you to the whole page, but all you do is break up the crayons into small pieces (after removing the paper, of course), sort by colors, place in a muffin pan (maybe a heart shaped one as is shown), and then cook for about 10 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees. Let them cool for about 10 minutes, remove, and you have new crayons. :-)
I thought it was a great idea, and a fun idea because you can get larger crayons with fun shapes.
