I heard this song the other morning on my way to work, and it really touched me. I wanted to share the lyrics with everyone. I know without a doubt in my heart, mind, and body that there is a God, and He knows me! He is my Father, and I don't know what I would do without Him.
"There Is A God" by Lee Ann Womack (Chris DuBois/Ashley Gorley)
1st Verse
Try and put your arms around
A hundred year-old tree
Climb up on a horse
And let him run full speed
Take a look down at the world
From thirty-thousand feet
On your next flight
2nd Verse
Watch a flock 'a birds
Against the mornin' sun
Close your eyes and listen
To the river run
Catch a firefly in your hand
Or a raindrop on your tongue
That's right
Chorus
(Oh) There is a God
There is a God
There is a God
How much proof do you need
3rd Verse
Plant a seed and see
What comes out of the ground
Find the heartbeat
On your baby's ultrasound
In a few years, hear him laughin'
And don't it sound like a song
4th Verse
Stop and think about
What you don't understand
Things like life and love
And how the world began
Hear a doctor say
We can't explain it
But the cancer is gone
(Repeat Chorus)
Bridge
Science says it's all just circumstance
Like this whole world's just an accident
But if you wanna shoot that theory down
Look around
Just look around
(Chorus Out)

Sewing...
So my sewing skills are pretty limited, but I am thinking about making some skirts or dresses. Are they pretty easy to do or would I just go crazy?

Making Plans
Well... this last week was great! I was in San Francisco for the week attending NCFR Conference, and it was wonderful! I met some really neat people, and am excited about upcoming things! It is certainly going to be a busy next couple of years for me! Good things to come!
With all of this, I need to start making plans. I need to find balance in my life, and take care of things when I need to take care of them. I need to be on top of things instead of waiting till the last minute. Oh - there is so much happening!
One plan that I am making is losing weight! Yes, I want to lose weight!! It would be nice to lose about 10 pounds, and drop a size or two. This has always been a hard thing for me, and part of that is because it's hard for me to eat properly. Right now, I am lacking money to really buy food, so I just eat what I have in the place which isn't much of anything. This also means I skip a lot of meals, which usually is okay with me as I have never been one to eat a whole lot. Also, I need to get myself in the gym. I love working out, but with the stress level so high, I haven't had the energy to go. This has to change! I am not happy with my appearance, and only I can do anything about it. So here we go... hoping for a change!

Upcoming Week
As I take a break from packing, I decided to post on my blog. And yes, I have to take a break from packing as it's a pain in my butt! I have to plan out everything, and because I'm trying to only take one bag, I have to really plan.
In 10 hours, I will be heading to the airport to fly to San Francisco for the week. I'm pretty excited to be going, but I don't feel ready. It seems like I still have things that I need to do, and that I have a few more weeks. Yet, that is not the case. It is going to be a busy week, and I'm not sure what it's going to bring. Either way, it'll be good. I'm going to make the best out of it!
Business casual, presentation, meetings, plenaries, and meeting new people are just some of the things going to fill my week. I do have a day off on Tuesday as I don't have meetings starting until that night. It'll be spent either doing some sight-seeing or school work. Hmmm... I know what I would prefer; however, I know what I should do.
I'm going to miss Brandon, but I can make it! At least I'm going to keep telling myself that! haha Actually, I think I'm going to be so busy that I won't have enough time to think about it. Crazy to think about a year ago when we went to Little Rock for the NCFR Conference. Life has certainly changed... for the better!!!
PS - I'm still going private, and will be doing that tomorrow! So make sure I have your email address to add! :-)

Private
Yes, I have decided that I'm going private which means, if you actually read my blog, please send me your email address so that I can add you to the list. You have a week, and then it's closed off. :-)

Time Change
The clocks were turned back an hour, and even my phone changed for me (which is usually not the case - at least not when I went to Utah). I could have stayed up an extra hour or just slept an extra hour. It's everyone's greatest wish, especially Halloween night. Well... not everyone's, because it's not mine.
I didn't stay up any later than normal. I actually think I went to bed earlier than normal. I couldn't even finish watching "Because I Said So," and that's odd because I so enjoy that movie! However, it had been a long day of work and Scare of the Square (which is another little paragraph to itself). Then sleeping in... yea right! Lexie was barking and scratching around 6:00am for me to take her outside. I got her to cuddle for a little bit of time, but she got tired of that. Lexie was determined to wake me up, and get me outside. BURRR!!! My five, yes FIVE, blankets were keeping me warm and cozy. Yet, I got up, and figured that I'll just have extra time to get ready for Church and to finish my movie. :-)
As for Scare on the Square, some friends and I volunteered to help out in the Young Child Area (which included the whole family). My friend Stacey was over it (which I didn't know at first), and it was good to see her again. She actually taught a dance class that I took at AC back in 2001. Anyways... I went up to see what she needed help with, and I took over her spot at the Pumpkin Toss where they try to toss pumpkin balls into buckets. Kaitlin came to help me, which was appreciated. We had to chase after some balls, ask for some back when people would try to steal them as they walked by, and deal with little kids just walking all over the place in front of other little kids. Oh - it was crazy! Even better, I had a 12-18 month little boy grab my butt. It was the craziest of things, and a few people saw this act. Even a dad of another kid was like, did he just do that. They are starting out way too early! Butt grabbing or smacking, normal in my life, but by a little boy, not so normal!! haha It was a long 3 hours, but it was good. I was glad we could help.
Everything else is going great. I leave for San Francisco in a week, and I can't believe it! Tara and I have been talking about this for the past year, and it's just around the corner. So nervous, but excited! Now, I just need to start getting ready for it! Meaning, I need to get ahead in school work, start packing and seeing what else I need to get, cleaning up the apartment to be empty for a week, and seeing Brandon as much as possible to last the whole week I'm gone (which yea, I'll miss him within the first day I'm sure).
Hope everyone else is doing great!!!
