Well, it's official... my brother is married! :-)
He married Shannon yesterday, and it was absolutely beautiful! She was a beautiful bride, and my brother looked pretty good himself. There were neat elements of the ceremony and day, and certainly things that just fit both of them. I loved seeing the hook from my brother's car keys in his pocket when he walked the aisle. I loved seeing Shannon crying of so much happiness, and my brother not being able to take his eyes off of her. It makes me cry just thinking about it! It seriously couldn't have been a better moment!
I didn't take any pictures (lame, I know), but there were certainly pictures taken by others. I can't wait to see how they all turned out. My brother and I have never been super close, but when it matters, we are there for each other. I cried at his wedding, and when I did my scriptural reading, we were all worried I wouldn't make it through. It was very special!
Thank you Shannon and Kevin for allowing me to be a part of such a wonderful day, and being able to share that moment with you two! I look forward to seeing where your lives go, and watching y'all grow closer together now as husband and wife... best friends!! I love you both!!
